One of the comments I most often get when demonstrating Teams functionality is “it’s not working for me”.
There are several reasons why this may be the case: personal settings, Team Owner settings, and even the version of Teams you are on (if it hasn’t been rolled out to your tenant)
However, in some cases, it can actually be restrictions at the top level for your organization set by IT. I’m not a big fan of overly restrictive policies that are organizational, but it does happen where someone gets the idea that nobody should be able to upload a custom background – and IT places that restriction on everyone.
