The pace at which ChatGPT has captured the imagination of the public is astounding. As a relatively new service, it seems impossible to avoid hearing about it across all forms of media – traditional to social.

While it will certainly affect all aspects of life – especially with big investments by companies such as Microsoft – my main interest is how it will affect education.

On my YouTube channel, I’ve already created two videos and hosted a LiveStream on ChatGPT and the implications for education. I’m also planning a fourth – specifically relating the use of chatGPT and the alignment (or disassociation) from Bloom’s Taxonomy.

In my first video – I look at how AI will affect education. There is a twist to this video – so make sure to watch at least half-way through 🙂

For the second video – I hosted a LiveStream to see if ChatGPT could create a Lesson Plan for each stage of the BOPPPS Model. It ended-up being …. interesting.

Finally, in my most recent video – I looked at one of the major concerns I have about ChatGPT. Something critical to consider in education – and really in any aspect of using the tool to generate information.

I certainly don’t want my YouTube channel to become a “ChatGPT Channel”, but the effect on education of this tool is so profound that I do see at least a few more videos in the future.

What are your thoughts on ChatGPT and Education? If you subscribe to my YouTube Channel – post in the comments of the videos on what you think about the topics covered.
