ABOUT FRANK
Microsoft Certified Trainer & Technology Implementation Specialist
Extensive experience designing and delivering training programs and implementing new technologies, with thousands of professionals trained in person and over 6 million views online.
Frank’s career spans education, industry, and leadership, giving him a rare, multidimensional perspective on how people and systems adapt to change. He has worked as a faculty member, trainer, instructional designer, and eventually AI Project Lead at one of Canada’s largest polytechnic institutions, and he has published three books on technology across education, enterprise, and workforce sectors.
Frank holds a Master of Arts in Learning and Technology from Royal Roads University, where he received the Founders’ Award, an honour recognizing students who have thoughtfully, and with care, collaborated and contributed meaningfully to digital learning networks and communities in the field throughout their program. His teaching and training work has also earned him multiple nominations for teaching excellence. He further strengthens his expertise with professional certifications, including Microsoft Certified Trainer and Cisco Certified Academy Instructor.
Before moving fully into education and AI, Frank spent a decade in management with Canadian Pacific Hotels & Resorts (now Fairmont). During that time, he earned Leader of the Year for the Château Whistler Resort, an achievement that led to his nomination and subsequent recognition as Western Leader of the Year in Canada. He later expanded his technical leadership experience through his work as an IT Systems Manager and several years running his own IT consulting firm, helping organizations navigate technology strategy and implementation while deepening his understanding of infrastructure, systems thinking, and operational complexity.
Across all these roles, Frank kept seeing the same pattern: technology was evolving faster than people’s ability to use it well. Organizations adopted tools without strategy. Educators struggled to keep up. Leaders made decisions without fully understanding the systems they were shaping. That gap is where Frank works. His mission is to help educators, government teams, and business leaders understand AI clearly, adopt it responsibly, and use it in ways that genuinely improve their work — not as a gimmick, not as a quick productivity hack, but as a tool for better thinking, better decisions, and better outcomes.
